These days, the iPhone is among one of the most popular types of smartphone sold on the market. Made by Apple, the iPhone is now in its fifth model, which is the iPhone 5. Prior to the announcement of this particular phone, there was a lot of speculation as to whether or not it would be equipped with working voice recognition software. This is software that can essentially listen to the user’s voice and follow commands based on this.

As we have since seen with the implementation of Siri on new iPhones, the question as to whether or not the iPhone 5 will have voice recognition software has been essentially answered. Now, users can ask their phones what the weather will be like, where the nearest Thai food restaurant is, and just about any other question one could imagine. From there, the voice recognition software on the phone will take that question, do some research, and immediately report back with an answer.

So if you are the type of person who enjoys new technology and would like to give voice recognition software a try, then it might be worth your while to get an iPhone 5 in the near future.

iPhone designers are in high demand now more than ever, primarily because the amount of iPhone users are growing on a daily basis.

Designing iPhone apps is now more easier than ever. A variety of simple-to-use templates are available for first-time designers and coding has become much simpler over the past couple of years.

The first step in the app design process is to research apps that are similar to yours. Thoroughly use these apps to get a good idea of what they offer and use this research to make your app better than the competition.

The best way to make your iPhone app competitive is to offer something that others don’t. Carefully plan out what you want your iPhone app to achieve so that you have a clear picture as to how you’re going to develop it.

The next stage of the process is to begin designing your app. On a separate piece of paper, draw a clear road map of how your app is going to work. This is very important because a poorly designed app with a confusing road map will deter customers from using it.

Once you have finished the design portion of the process, it’s time to begin coding your application. Find a template that suits your app’s design and that’s easy to work with.

iPhones are used for almost any purpose, but one thing most people overlook is the need to secure your phone against outsiders. This article will explore ways to increase the security of your iPhone.

iPhone security falls into the following categories:
Basics: Always set a passcode, one that is not used anywhere else. Don’t reuse a bank PIN, or a birthday. More recent versions of the iPhone even support a true password, in addition to the standard four-digit code.

GPS Tracking: There are many apps specifically designed to find your phone should it be lost or stolen. One should be required for all phones.

Secure Photos: Using an app designed to protect your photos and videos with a passcode is also wise. Many excellent versions are even free! Companion apps secure contacts and more.

Shred Your Data: Deleting a file on the iPhone only makes it harder to find, it doesn’t really remove it. No secure phone should be without an app to safely delete old account numbers, photos, and passwords. Most of these are paid apps, but are well worth the investment.

Finally, avoid jailbreaking. Jailbroken phones offer even more security options, but are far more open to outsiders.

Every business should be benefiting by using productivity applications for smartphones. These applications make it possible for the company or individual to take care of a higher volume of customers in a more efficient manner. One application that every business should have is an application that accepts credit card payments. Customers generally prefer to pay for things using credit or debit cards so by having this kind of application in effect, a business can actually increase sales.

Another kind of application that every business should have in use is a social media application. There are many social media sites that offer a connection between a company and its customers. Business owners can really make use of these apps by using them to announce sales, jobs, and other information about their products and services.

A banking application is another application that no business should go without. The application could be used to deposit money made from sales, pay employees, and pay for the company’s monthly utilities. All of these processes can be completed very quickly with a banking application. It saves time and hassle of having to drive to a branch and handle these transactions in person. In business, every second counts.

Since the debut of the Apple iPhone, mobile gaming devices have seen a decline in sales. This is because many gaming designers are looking at producing video games for the Apple iPhone and other similar devices. Furthermore, the video games are less expensive to purchase than a standard hand held video game system. With this in mind, many portable video gamers are now switching over to the Apple iPhone.

The Apple iPhone isn’t just a portable video game system. It also makes phone calls, surfs the Internet, plays music and movies, with thousands of available of applications. With all these additional features, many people are making the iPhone the future of portable video gaming. The iPhone releases an update just about every year, with each device coming with faster processor chips and more additional features. This allows game developers to increase the quality of the video game. The same is not true with standard hand held systems, as these typically go through years between updates.

The overall quality of hand held video game systems is slightly better, but within enough time the Apple iPhone will catch up and provide exactly the same quality, while perform all the additional mobile features.

Everyone who owns an iPod, iPad, or iPhone probably know about the famous Angry Birds. Angry Birds is a widely popular app that is one of the most lucrative apps on Apple. However, there are other apps that are just great as Angry Birds. Here are some of the best apps beside Angry Birds.

Bejeweled 2 was the first best selling app. It is a classic puzzle game. It is definitely one of the best gaming apps.

An app doesn’t have to be a game to be one of the best apps. For example, the Facebook app. There are more than eight hundred million active users on Facebook. The Facebook app, or any other social networking app, is virtually one of the best apps to have.

Netflix is one of the best apps also. The ability to stream movies and television shows to your iPhone is ideal and great. Moreover, this app is free!

Instapaper is one of the best productive apps. It leaves just the text on a website, and syncs to your iPhone. Ideal for people who read websites frequently.

Camera is another app that is the best when it comes to photography. It includes a wide assortment of effects and filters. Plus, it only cost one dollar.

There are whole lot of apps out for the iPhone. Angry Birds is a great app, one of the best actually, but there are other apps that are worthy of such a title. Apps are usually more leaned towards lifestyle, so there is no definite best app, but this mentioned apps are probably the best apps in their respective area. You thought this was good? Brace yourself: Angry Birds Say Chrome is Great, Mustaches Are Funny
